Played a bit of RE4 remake last night and it’s been said many times before, but it’s still worth repeating: Fuck. That. Opening. Village. Section.

 

So someone posted this on Reddit, which does a fair job of answering your question.

As you can see, in March the Japanese version made $2 million in revenue. Global made $100,000. A pretty huge disparity, for sure.

On the other hand, people are pointing out that a lot of game servers continue to run on even less revenue and all Crunchyroll is doing beyond that is translation. I don't actually know the logistics behind that.

Anyway, if these numbers are true, at least I can be thankful Epic Seven and Blue Archive aren't in any danger.

The writing is great

 

Gears 2 and 3 are literally GOAT tier. I love 5 and 4 too. In that order.

 

2&3 are the best in every way. Can’t wait for the remastered collection.

Okay, so Dying Light 2 is real bad, but I genuinely really really like Dying Light one. The co-op stuff is a lot of fun, the traversal starts slow and then gets all zippy and quick, there's fun little Easter eggs, and killing the zombies feels great.

 

The story is whatever, but I like the environment they created. It feels like a real lived in city and the dlc has like a customizable dune buggy.

 

I loved dying light 2 :’(

Hey, include me in that boat. I am hyped AF for Dead Island 2.

 

I’m absolutely loving RE4. Took me a chapter or so to get used to the combat but now I feel almost untouchable. The 3D audio is very cool as well.

 

random thing that I’ve probably mentioned before but I was playing dead island and someone I guess dropped into my game and gave me op weapons that never lose ammo and I ended up beating the game on like one life and I gave the weapons to my family so that was fun lmao

 

That part is a cakewalk. Wait until you get into the castle and these goat headed assholes carrying a flame in red suits start rallying their troops against you.

 

I can't remember shit from the Gears games, played the first 3 as they came out and had a good time. I remember 1? ending on a train and that's it.
