Visiting my parents next week and will probably have a lot of free time so I picked up Elden Ring on Deck

happy to report it still rules so hard

 

I finished Persona 5 Royal. Needless to say, I'm surprised it was a longer playthrough than my RDR2 playthrough, which was pretty thorough itself. Long ass game. Worth the time though. Still, I think most games that stick around for 140 hours ultimately outstay their welcome and P5R is no different. But I'll give credit where credit is due. I tend to feel burnt out on most JRPGs at around 35 hours. The first 70 or so hours of P5R was a breeze and I didn't really start to feel it outstay its welcome until around the 90 hour mark. The day to day to life was compelling and I was still finding new stuff to do over 100 hours in.

Hell of an experience. I might play through it again in 10 years.

I let someone die in The Quarry. Bummed! I had a good run going on too. Ehhhhh guess I'll stop for the night and resume in the AM.

Speaking of pervy games. I've always wondered: was BMX XXX actually a good BMX game at its core? I feel like played it once back then, but I don't remember it

This came out today.

Castlevania clone with very light Metroidvania elements starring Shinobu and Maya from the Gal*Gun series, because we just can't seem to get away from ecchi franchises this week.

 

I was just reading about this game. I might have to indulge.

 

64% positive on steam Id skip it

If you read the reviews, it's because people are dumb and are mad it's not actually a Metroidvania.
