I've been juggling replaying Dead Cells and Spiritfarer, but I just got MK11 on sale; I had beaten it on Gamepass but it didn't have the DLC campaign so I'm excited to dive into that

I have a pretty limited knowledge of fighting games but I always liked how NetherRealm did their story modes as opposed to how like in Street Fighter you'd have to beat the Arcade Mode with every character to get the whole story and even then most characters' endings would conflict with one another.

I also paid 3 bucks or so for anthem so that might have helped lol

 

HFW coming to PS+ just in time for them to try to sell as many copies of the DLC as possible lol

So I don't have much interest in Final Fantasy, but I get SO pumped when I see good rhythm games being released for great soundtracks

 

I was so happy when they added the rhythm mode to Ring Fit Adventure and was very disappointed that they never added more songs because they had bangers on there.

 

The new additions to PS+ on the 21st are damn nice.

I put too many damn hours into the demo. Can't wait, I've got the physical pre-ordered and then I'll buy the digital upgrade to get everything. I'm happy with the reviews its been getting too, glad it's getting some recognition!

 

Oh yeah small note, it's not JUST FF songs, it's a lot of other Squeenix properties. Just the majority are FF lol.

 

I'm gonna try the demo now!

 

Some of the difficulties are kinda hard not gonna lie unless you like rhythm games. If things make you wanna bang your head there's a Simple Mode that makes it way more accessible if just listening to the songs is your jam.

 

I don't often play rhythm games in the hard difficulties because I'm honestly very bad at it. Hard is usually the highest I'll ever go if I do, but it's just so much more enjoyable for me to just jam out on normal.

The easy mode in some games are just so breezy and it's almost like you aren't even playing haha

 

There's some songs and some difficulties where the directional inputs are ok and then there's some where I'm like NOPE.

But here is a cheat discovered that helps somewhat.

 

I love rhythm games I haven't played em in a while though outside of at arcades. I love Miku games

 

Like take this, I lol'd and was like uhhh when I saw it. The halfway point when Sephiroth song comes on......

 

Outriders was good for a game in early alpha lmao

 

Thumper is the best rhythm game I’ve ever played
