i'm at work now for starters lol. thanksgiving with part of my fiance's family tomorrow and seeing friends tonight. i can probably sneak in some hours of play when i get off but i really just wanted to lose the whole weekend in it ya know lol

After 9 hours of play nothing even remotely like that has happened to me. Not saying it’s not happening for others, but what do you expect me to say? That I’m not loving the game because other people have issues? That’s ridiculous

It just took me about 5 tries to defeat the werewolf as Atreus in the circular arena in Ragnarok lol

It’s a really nice box set and it sounds smooth af

 

Ragnarok the GOAT for revealing locations for a bunch of side quest stuff after you beat the game so you don’t need to hunt around for it too much

I feel like pokemon and sonic discourse always sucks and having frontiers and scarlet/ violet coming out so close together is just compounding the problem.

 

Pokemon is just Call of Duty in the sense that’s there’s yearly or every other year releases that are just basically adult comfort food at this point

 

and there's nothing wrong with that.

though I'd argue that the recent 3-4 Pokémon games have been markedly different and trying to put creative spins on the formula!

 

they have been but plenty of people keep arguing to the contrary as though we can’t see what’s going on in those games for ourselves lol. and everyone complaining that the new games are broken (again the worst I’ve had is super low frames and laughably low res textures) must not have been around when blue and red launched because nothing will ever be as broken as those games were

 

There’s definitely nothing wrong with that. Not everyone is looking for the next game of the year, but a game from a series they can fall back on and sink some hours into haha.

 

We should be holding the devs to higher standards for sure but some of those bugs are fucking hilarious

 

the devs are almost never the ones to blame for this shit. starts from the top and by the time it snowballs to where devs have to cut corners and can’t bug fix in time there’s nothing anyone can do. tight unrealistic schedules and budgets are why these things happen, it’s corporate greed and nothing else. I feel I can say this because every other aspect is an absolute grand slam, the people who made this game clearly put their heart and soul into it. If only the people who funded it would have.

 

Yeah I can see the devs being put on a time crunch and this is what happens. I mean getting two of these games out in less than a year is going to be chaotic as hell, especially when it comes to an open world game
