Player's Log: A Quick Update

Spent the last couple weeks eating my bodyweight in jambalaya and étouffée. Not a ton of gaming. But this is a quick update to get back on the gaming & updating train.

Fenyx Rising: Cleared out most of the miscellaneous stuff from the Forgelands. A couple more chests to snag, and then it's on to Ares, which will be the last big section before the endgame stuff. Still really loving the game, and I'm pleased that I've been able to remember and utilize all the combos and powerups well.

The Alliance Alive: I hadn't played this game in over a year, sheesh. I'm about a third of the way through. Cleared chapters 8 and 9 the other day. Still enjoying it quite a bit. Think I'll keep at it for a while so I don't lose track of the storyline again.

Hows everyone feeling about GoW, have a hard time believing i’m not gonna buy it this weekend.

 

It was a fake account disguised as the official Nintendo of America account with a blue check mark. It was also a picture of Mario with the middle finger up.

 

Committed to finally beating Last of Us II after starting it the day it came out. Just made it through the hospital basement. That was STRESSFUL. And I’m playing on light/easy.

(so I beat Halo today and maybe I’ll have this beat by week end. That will knock out really the only 2 games I have left unfinished that I care to finish)

Naw near completionist is 100% of the way to go. Lets you skip shit like that last Valkyrie challenge in GOW1 while still getting through all the enjoyable parts of the game.

I loved the Valkyries and I hate hard things

 

The first Thor fight from the trailer was fun, and a stark contrast to when I did the first Baldur fight in GOW. I was able to this one on Normal whereas I probably died like 10 times on one of the easier settings lol.

But to be fair that was the first game I played on PS5 and the only game I had Ever played with any significant combat was BOTW lmao

 

My favorite thing so far was Thor calling Kratos Dumbass lol.
