The world of Final Fantasy can exist in literally any way they want it to, but they choose not to. It's that simple.

I've played just 2 minutes of Ghost Song by the way, and I can already tell it is going to be fucking great.

 

It definitely could've been worded better in the tweet. I'm glad it was tweeted about though, I saw FFXVI news and got so excited, and read through the article and this really did stick out like a sore thumb and I would've felt like I was going crazy if it weren't mentioned.

 

Like any Metroid fans should play it, and I don't say that about most 'metroidvanias' this has a gun mechanic that is similar, i'm excited to see what you unlock in the game.

 

Yeah, me and my whiteness doesn't think about it enough so it's something I can certainly stop and process and be more aware about in general.

 

The characters in this one are presumed to be white due to being based on medieval Europe. But in general yeah there's different forms of representation. I know in FFXIV in particular there are many different cultures represented by different areas in the game in very nice nuanced ways.

Yeah, don't get me wrong. I agree with the general thrust that it's a fantasy land and they can do whatever they want, so there's really no excuse for a lack of diversity, but saying there's no non-white characters gives me some "man, anime sure is dominated by white people" energy. It sounds weird as fuck to me.

Just started Gunfire Reborn and this shit rules

 

I started with my brother and it was his first entry to rogues. he basically quit after we beat the first boss, died, and started from the beginning.

“fuck this” was his exact words. we are not the same lol

 

Gunfire Reborn is a masterpiece.

 

I can finally start sunbreak lol. Will say the base game of rise both single player and multiplayer is a solid 9.5/10 lol

 

I was really resistant to rogues for a while and didn’t see the appeal of doing the same thing over and over. Turns out it’s just really fun to git gud lol

 

As long as the game keeps it interesting and you feel like you are making progress, Rogues are great.

 

Gunfire Reborn rules hard

 

Fucking Ghost Song is so incredible so far. It's giving Dread by the ways of Hollow Knight.
