My boss is currently on vacation in Italy right now. Should I call him and ask him to find Tillian and punch him in the face?

I'm 3 hours into SIGNALIS and it's just such an utter triumph. It's like a Sci-Fi Resident Evil where you play as the Major from GITS.

Player's Log: Ken Follett's The Pillars Of The Earth.

I finished Book 1, so basically the first third of the game, as there are three books.

It's very interesting stuff. It's historical intrigue that gives me the same energy as say Vikings or The Last Kingdom, or I guess Game Of Thrones without the dragons and mysticism. I dunno, these might be bad comparisons.

It takes place in England in the 12th century, and it's about the building of a cathedral, and all the political scandal and church corruption that comes with it. The main cast is all pretty likeable. I'm having fun with it.

As I stated in my previous post, it's very Telltale-like in that you have dialogue choices and at the end of each chapter, the game keeps track of what you've accomplished.

I'm going for all achievements, so I'm taking a specific route. Therefore, I don't know how much the dialogue choices impact the events of the game, but I'm thinking not much. Still, it's a nice touch.

I'm not sure if I'll finish the game tomorrow, but I at least intend to get though Book 2.

  13. I was looking at that! After loving Unpacking and Slay the Spire I'm totally down to play a Humble Games survival horror

  14. I think I should really get to finishing Fenyx and starting Deathloop, though. Other than a few runs of Monster Train I haven't really been gaming in the past week or so.

Activision is a shitty band and Kotick is a tone deaf hack. He could never hit the high notes on Jackpot Juicer!

Not sure if people care or not, but God of War has been sold early, so there's all sorts of spoilers out there. Full story plot details, gameplay videos, big reveals.

May be worth muting some key terms if you're the kind of person that cares about spoilers.

I’m trying to decide on what classic game I should play next and it’s between Sly Cooper, Banjo Kazooie or Jak and Daxter.

classic games is where it’s at.

Finished Book 2, and man the intrigue is going off the charts in this game. I'm really enjoying the story and I recommend this to anyone who is into this kind of game, especially if you're a fan of historical drama.

I doubt I'll get through Book 3 tomorrow since each book is fairly lengthy and I work tomorrow, but I plan to finish the game before the end of the week and move on to something else.

I'm kind of getting tired of Daedelic games so I might try to wind this down and spin the wheel again, but I'm not sure. I told myself I would wrap up my Daedelic excursion with their flagship series, Deponia, but that's four games. I dunno, we'll see.
