Players Log: Just completed the story in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Really good overall. Although, I think Rise of the Tomb Raider is the best. Time to tidy up and then work on seven, YES SEVEN, dlc’s.

 

500 bucks buys you a pc that eats the steam deck alive, but then you still need a monitor, kbm, etc.

at the end of the day, steam deck is insane value and by valve’s own admission is priced absurdly low for what it is.

 

Polygon is a terrible website, but also “spoiling” the story is quite normal in literary criticism, which presumably "modern video game criticism" (as opposed to the more old school product testing-type video game criticism) is emulating

 

i just wanted to respond to whoever that said the deck is cheaper, its not that simple

steam decks are really cool btw

 

I'll never own or play games on a PC simply because I do not want to be confined to my desk and uncomfortable chair just to game. I'm basically handheld games or nothing these days, other than the rare times I play my Switch docked.

Loser take but I only own a Vita/3DS/Switch, so that's where I'm at

 

PCs literally have an HDMI out. I have mine wired to both my TV and a monitor and I just sit down wherever I want to to game.

Which I don't. But I could if I wanted to!

 

Project Gotham Racing was a fantastic franchise

 

From what I read, steam decks are an incredible bang for your buck. Why would I want a stationary 500 dollar PC when I can have one I can bring anywhere and also hook up like a PC lol

 

I mean, play how you want to play and what is easiest and most comfortable for you. Me: any chance to get off my phone is taken and I didn't buy a 65 inch LG C1 OLED TV for it to collect dust.

 

I own a comfy chair. #winning

 

also new streaming tech now lets me easily stream it to my phone or any of my tvs anywhere in my house without having to buy a specialized device. psnow and steam are both incredible for that - never tried them for true remote play.

 

Graphics aren't that game's problem

 

Interesting move but considering how archaic the original is by today’s standards, it makes sense I guess.

Cyberpunk is getting a huge update/DLC soon'ish, def do Ragnarok first

 

Sure wish I could play Ragnarok on my PC on day one
