I think I'm gonna wait for a patch before starting A Plague Tale, apparently PC performance is rough

 

so excited for the village third person mode. and i just beat re4 again for the first time in a while and it made me so much more excited for the remake. cant wait how to see how they handle some of those segments.

 

Interesting that Schreier says “accounts and evidence reviewed by Bloomberg make it clear that those videos were not the full story”. But then gives no examples. I believe him and his sources, I just wish we knew the full story here.

 

Player's Log: The Dark Eye: Chains Of Satinav.

I forgot a lot about this game beyond a few minor details and the fact that it's a point and click. It's a likeable enough yarn, if somewhat straightforward. I enjoy the dialogue.

Anyway, I got one of the four achievements I didn't get previously, and the last three should unlock when I beat the game. I'm already halfway through, so it shouldn't be much longer. I expect to finish tomorrow.

Then I'll play Memoria, which as it turns out is a direct sequel to this game, so it's a good thing I'm refreshing my memory.

Player's Log: Dragalia Lost.

I finished Chapter 6, and started some side events, using this one timeline guide as a reference to determine which side events to tackle and when. Nintendo was kind enough to allow all of the previous events in the game to be playable, probably because of the impending shutdown, so I can go through all the game's content with no fuss.

Unfortunately, this also makes me nervous about getting it all done before the shutdown. I might have to really buckle down on this game.

 

Whole situation is getting more convoluted

 

really weird of her to say it was a 4k offer and not 4k per session out of 5 sessions which seems completely reasonable and a livable wage considering 5 sessions couldnt possibly take more than a month, maybe two (three at the most, and not consecutively but just overall), i would absolutely kill for that much money for that amount of work. if somehow bloomberg and all other reports coming out got it wrong i just have to wonder how, is platinum producing fake contracts to make it look like they offered more than they actually did or something and showing it to journalists inquiring like "hey look, see?" but they're lying even if it looks like real solid proof? is that even possible to do? depends on who their sources are but obviously anonymous reporting is very important to the medium and the safety of the people providing the information. i just dont know why either side (taylor vs the journalists, not platinum we know they're in the shit rn they made babylon's fall ffs not everything is all good over there right now im sure) would be lying in this case. did she misunderstand the terms and think it was only for 4k when it was for 4k per session? who fucking knows at this point but you gotta wonder why she would make that video and open up herself to relentless attacks and this level of scrutiny if she didnt think she was right, but that scrutiny is proving she might not be? i guess we'll just have to wait and see if anything else is revealed on either side because right now i cant really make heads or tails of this.

I think the consensus I've seen is that 4K per session is actually still a lowball offer for that field, especially for the starring role.
