Chapter 9 in A Plague Tale was really cool. Combat/Sneak variety is getting spicy

Going back and finishing some games to get my completion % up. Currently playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider and what a great game.

Trying to get into streaming, did some Overwatch 2 last night. I had three viewers, felt like a rockstar

 

How long have you played so far? You planning to do the DLC stuff?

FWIW I like when Zeus's jokes don't land; I felt like that was kind of intentional. He's pretty self-centered and oblivious, so even the meh ones feel on-brand.

Super fun game for sure.

 

over 60 hours. I'm playing it via Gamepass so I don't have the dlc

 

Just finished TLOU2. What a great game. The ending was v sad but I could see a 3rd game to wrap everything up.

I would like to see Ellie have a somewhat good resolution. I can understand that she could have chosen not to go through with the revenge path at the end, but she grew up knowing violence and I hope they could give her one last chance for a good ending.

 

This game looks cool

 

I think we’ll see a third game/redemption arc for Ellie at some point, hopefully in like 10 years after they do a new IP first.

 

with the gameplay mechanics of TLOU2, ND could kill a new IP in either the horror or stealth genres. and both of those genres are ripe for revival.

 

As good as TLOU series is, Naughty Dog needs to do something else for a while. Don't want to see all that talent squandered on one IP.

I would like something more uplifting again from them haha

I think it's so weird that they're remaking TLOU--when it isn't even ten years old--before making a third game. The industry as a whole has gone a bit crazy with remakes/remasters. Is it because technological advances in the field are progressing faster than the industry can keep up? Console generations seem to get shorter and shorter. At least with things like RE2 where the original is 1998 and the remake is 2019 it makes a bit more sense.

Uncharted or TLOU? Uncharted kinda just looks like a male-fronted TR2013 so I'm not as interested

 

Even after just playing TLOU for the first time and then TLOU2 and it's bleak ending, I wish there was a third that I could start right now lol. I loved them both.

 

Uncharted 4 is coming to PC. Trust me, you will be VERY interested in the Lost Legacy campaign -- it's got very cool high femme energy ;)

 

Oh cool. I saw that it was a standalone expansion, I guess I missed the part where it was coming to PC. I'm guessing/hoping I won't have to have played the Nathan Drake Collection

 

The Lost Legacy is the most beautiful game I have ever played. I literally got up from the couch to take pictures of it with my phone lol

yes. aside from Golf Story, of course!

 

The stand up and take pictures moment for me was Edith Finch and Elden Ring.

 

Oh yeah Elden Ring def has the best art in a game ever to me but it doesn’t have the technical proficiency of a naughty dog game.
