I really need to try Monster Hunter again

 

I wish Monster Hunter would click for me. I’ve tried a couple times and it just never sticks.

 

Just finished my last Overwatch matches and got the Dva trophy for the 4k. Rip Overwatch 1, you gave me many hours of fun

 

I think for me, when I started it, I wasn't in a good place and it seemed very confusing and detailed.

 

My friends keep trying to get me into Monster Hunter (now that there's one on PC), but it just doesn't sound appealing to me. I keep saying it's because I don't want another time sink, but I can spend hours on Immortals Fenyx Rising (which I'm playing now) without touching the story. I think it's more I just don't like long and challenging boss fights. Raid bosses are my least favorite part of Borderlands.

 

Monster Hunter seems incredibly fun and deep. Also forgot capcom did dragons dogma, I’m pretty far into it and love it

 

Oh I always think Bandai Namco did that one for some reason.

 

Monster hunter rules so fuckin hard. Rise is a great entry point imo. It was my first.

Id think all soulsborne fans would like MH

 

Oh, on Capcom, shout out to fuckin' Gargoyle's Quest, especially the third entry, Demon Crest.

I restarted Yooka Laylee just a day or two before the 3D platformer chat in here and it’s not great but it’s fun!

That being said I love platformers, feel like I’ve played the obvious ones but if anyone knows any lesser known gems (3D or 2D) on Xbox or Switch I’d love to hear em.

Was just talking to Cobes about battle passes and how dumb it is that they’re a timed exclusive thing. Like, if companies wanted to make more money out of them, shouldn’t they just make them all of them available to buy at any time?

I know that the whole point of battle passes and the completion is FOMO and exclusivity so people buy more tiers. But surely in the long run doing it so all old battle passes are available to buy any time would make more money in the long run?

 

As someone who played Zero Dawn for the first time just a few months before Forbidden West released, I really enjoyed it. They expanded on and improved aspects that were good from the original and added new features and mechanics that I enjoyed. They changed up the whole skill tree and it allows you to really tailor the skill set to how you want to play whether it’s focused on combat, stealth, or a mix of all of them.

 

We are finally going to get that days gone remaster everyone has been asking for
