Player's Log: I finished that swan. 100%.

Next up: I Am Dead. The game, not my state of being.

 

Player's Log: I finished the first chapter of I Am Dead. Very cute, very entertaining. Basically a dead guy and his dog work to find a new Custodian for their island to keep a volcano from erupting and destroying the populace.

The gameplay loop is basically each chapter revolving around a particular person. You find people with memories of that person and then find the items tied to those memories, and when you have them all, you can then summon the ghost of that person, which ends the chapter. In the meantime you can find other collectibles toward achievements. It's basically point and click, find the hidden objects kind of behavior.

 

Fantastic game I’m about 10 hours in

 

Players Log: Just finished Donut County and well...it was an experience.
Fairly quick and easy if you are looking for something mindless.

Players Log: Just started Mighty Goose.
Yep, its just as ridiculous as it sounds. Its essentially Metal Slug meets Contra meets Mega Man aka A LOT of fun.

 

just got the boat in DQXI. feels very much like a shout out to classic SNES style overworld travel

Same, but 60+ hours. I’ve been doing nothing but ascension quests last weekend and it has been a blast. They’re really the heart of this game I feel like.
