So I’ve been using switch axe, insect glaive, and longsword the most in wilds and I’ve used them all in previous games but I’ve never actually considered if I’m using any of them correctly or not. Like I can pick up the gist but as you may know the weapons can all go pretty deep for optimization especially charging weapons. Anyway I started watching a few YouTube videos and to my surprise I’ve actually been using all three weapons exactly how you’re supposed to during wilds lol. It definitely took me a long time to understand kinsects with the glaive and how best to optimize the switch axes different forms but yeah turns out I’m not a complete idiot lmfao. Also I’ve got a rarity 8 switch axe and longsword now and have hit the HR double monster hunts. I’ve been doing more SOS flares lately but I do tend to play solo most of the time. I played rise mostly online and world mostly solo until the end of the story when it got very hard for me. It’s nice to mix it up a bit. If anyone ever wants to play together lmk

Yea it sucks cuz when I’m home sick I can’t game. I have no desire

 

loaded up Indiana Jones and I lasted 10 minutes before the game crashed and I was forced to rest my Xbox we are making progress folks

 

I forgot to say the new update on Phasmophobia to that one level is actually really good.

the last two updates have made the game super fun. I just wish I still had my 4 player squad we are now down to 2 and 3 if we get lucky.

 

It's a bit buggy but it's a very good level for sure

Will finally be done with Lost Records part 1 tomorrow, haven’t reallt played in a week or so for various reasons.

But I really like the story, looking forward to the second part in April.

Almost 30 hours in and I just unlocked The Island. Seeing Gachapin and Mukku brought a smile to my face haha....this game is WILD.

I’m like 50% through DS1 and it continues to be great

 

Oh yeah we’ve had the game crash a few times so they got some things to work out

I really need them to start incorporating more locked doors/find keys and just hidden stuff to really make the level feel more alive

this is the first level where I can get spooked from just the little things it feels immersive

 

I've had doors appear to be shut that are actually open as my main issue

I go to open the door and I can't but I can just walk straight through it

 

I’ve only had some lighting bugs and then the crashes

the attic is also cool too it feels like a mini story

The map is really spooky, same with Point Hope but I know people don't really like Point Hope due to the layout (I think it's cool)

 

the only maps my family really plays is the houses, the campsite and maybe the prison if there is a challenge

we just completely ignore point hope cause that layout is a PAIN especially cause we go professional setting or harder

 

Yeah professional is my default, I dabble a bit in nightmare and have been working on apocalypse gold challenge (ALMOST got it recently)

I play em all but I avoid Edgefield when I can, I hate the upstairs layout of it, and I avoid High School because it's way too big and samey

my cousin has been trying to find the perfect setting for custom mode so we can get that max reward but nothing works lol

high school I only like cause the cursed item is super easy to find

 

I do a 9x custom setting that I like for Willow Street, it's far from max (I believe best for your time is on Camp Woodwind)

For gold apoc I do defaults with a slight weather change

 

trying to save some funds and play stuff in the PS+ subscription. started Somerville last night and almost finished it in one sitting. great vibes.

 

My favorite game of all time, Warcraft III, is seeing a little resurgence thanks to a bunch of popular streamers grinding it out for a streamer tourney. Pretty fun to watch people try and learn a fairly difficult game I have loved since 2002. Former pro player Grubby has kind of put it together, but Blizzard (lol) actually donated $10k for the prize pool.
