yeah? i never heard of it before now. importance of a publisher/marketing i guess!
but also until recently i hadn't been gaming on pc/steam

 

To be fair, it also used to be called Monolith but had to change the name because of a rights issue of some kind.

 

why is monster hunter the best gameplay loop ever created

 

We got to this part, it doesn’t matter how far you get on the phone, it just keeps going lmao. Sarah was the one that had to do it so it was great lol.

 

It’s MAYBE huge and I’m not fan of the army battle parts but I still think it is amazing, especially if you like the era

 

finished chapter 6 of monster hunter and took down the *final* boss fight in the game…no notes. these fights have all been incredible. there’s a few monsters that are a littttle annoying but that’s MH for you. time to grind out HR and level 8 rarity weapons

I think odyssey is an extremely frustrating game. It feels like a bunch of sub groups developed each part of the game without ever consulting each other and then just slapped all these systems together haphazardly. The bounty system was completely busted and ruined a lot of the general gameplay for me. Some other aspects of it just did not really do it for me. However the journey was fulfilling and the core AC loop was as good as ever, just wish it had more focus and less level gating

 

Main story quest?!?what's that??? I'm just here, swimming the deep blue sea and collecting garbage....cleaning up the sea one can at a time.

And on occasion playing sujimon. How in the world did devs put so much into this game???

 

There’s also the Animal Crossing mini game too

 

I think I have almost 70 hours sunk into IW and most of it is doing side stuff.

 

Finally got around to finishing God of War 2018. Totally loved it. Good combat, exploration, and story. I might start another game on my list before going onto Ragnarok.

 

My suggestion as a fellow lover of GoW2018: Take a long break before Ragnarok.

 

Downloading Shin Megami Tensei V now, and it looks like a long game, so…yep

 

The one AWFUL thing about Suikoden is the inventory and equipment management. Characters have super limited space and it does not do a good job of telling you what characters can equip when you find something in a chest. Meh. Only complaint I got though.

Picked up Doom 2016 for a couple bucks this weekend, and damn is it a good time. Exactly the kind of game I’ve been craving lately

 

I have to choose my next game and the list is damn stacked:

The Last of Us part 1, God of War Ragnarok, Cyberpunk 2077, Indiana Jones or horizon zero dawn.

I’m leaning towards Indiana Jones I just hate having to use my Xbox rn lol but gamepass the best deal in gaming
