Watched the Kinda funny and SkillUp reviews of Split Fiction. Both were a little disappointed in story but thought the gameplay was great.

Both talked about a sequence at the end of the game that is probably going to be one of the best of the year and other games will probably take inspiration from in the future.
Not story but covered just in case.

 

Been so dialed into Sekiro this week, I’m getting near to the end.

what should I check out that’s close to this type of combat? Lies of P? Wo Long? A different thing?

 

Wo Long 100% it’s so fun. And the parry mechanic is so pleasing.

 

Playing through THPS 1+2 again, the first game’s goals in each level get more annoying as the game goes on

 

Also the soundtrack largely sucks

My sincere answer is Underground 2. Love any soundtrack that has Jimmy Eat World, Ween, Ultramagnetic MCs, and Frank Sinatra all on one soundtrack.

The SF level is like all street and little vert so it’s hard to stack combo chains, plus that fucking bus can burn in hell. Also, the S-K-A-T-E letter locations are obnoxious.

 

I haven’t played games since Wednesday and I know I just gotta finish mafia 1 so I can move on to something from game pass courtesy of @AndrewSoup but damn i know mafia 1 is super short but also I don’t wanna go back lol
