Weirdly enough just finished going through the Bioshock trilogy again like last week haha. Games are still super solid

 

I am not good at roguelikes. I simply do not know when to bail on a dungeon and I keep dying and losing all my stuff lol

 

that's just what the gameplay is... or are you playing one where you're supposed to extract?

I bought a couple modern 4x games last night which is classic reckless me. Gonna spend the day seeing if I can figure put Age of Wonders 4 and Crusader Kings 3.

 

Imo, the state of play presentations are generally pretty fun. Looking forward to it.

 

I hope we get to see the Switch 2

was telling my wife about South of Midnight because it seems like something she'd enjoy but xbox exclusive :(

I doubt it will be there but a Halo trailer on a PS event would be crazy

^ Those screenshots look beautiful but the first articles I read were about framerate / visual issues with the 'stop motion' art style. I'd still like to see more though. I like how the UI appears and I enjoyed the story trailer I just watched.

State of play...

It'd be nice to get a little more from naughtydog but I expect far too soon. DS2 and GOY probably though. Despite some rumors, I don't think there will be anything from Santa Monica either but maybe? Rumored GoW prequel though I thought there was also a lot of chatter about a new IP.

Someone said no VR so I'll shelf my dream of Half Life Alyx coming to PSVR2. I have played it twice on PC, but it's always been a little glitchy and takes forever to troubleshoot some random BS each time. I'd buy a PSVR if it meant getting to play that again with nothing really needed except booting it up.

 

you can turn the stop motion in gameplay off -- I think that's an excellent call because a lot of people think it's weird.

I'd give it a look see with it but will probably end up turning it off too
