Why don’t modern consoles do Dolby Vision with disc playback?

 

Not a huge gamer.. but I have a PS5 and I got my 6 year old daughter a pink controller for Christmas. She loves Sackboy… recs for co-op games would be appreciated!

Did you see the video?!?! I don't recall previously knowing we could switch between battle modes so that was a huge revelation to me and even more hyped now for what other monkey but interesting changes they've made!

Seeee I was about to post that exact thing TOO but it's coming out in the fall and that's basically 3/4 of the year of other releases ahead of it.....like kuro 2 lol.....in a year that looks poised to be yet another year of FANTASTIC jrpgs so I personally can't make that statement.........yet lol.



It does make me wonder if they're developing part 2 alongside secretly since it's basically a straightforward sequel reusing most assets or how long it would even take them to make it because I have a feeling that ending is destroy another generation of new players so hopefully the wait isn't too long.
