I beat my first playthrough with the defect. The deck I had ended up being a lot of fun.

My go to is definitely defect, I think they’re the most fun for me. But I like all 3.

I was gonna say I had been having the most luck with the defect til the last run when I think I figured out how to use the silent. the ironclad is just so boring though

Ironclad can be fun if you go for a heavy block build. You can build up so much block that nothing can touch you. I remember a deck once where I had the card that lets you save block between turns and the card that lets you double or triple your block and the card that does damage based on how much block you have. It went HARD if you could get it going.

That was how I did it as well

Silent was the one I managed to get to the end with. Footwork, Blur, and survivor for block. Then I went heavy on the position (mostly around Noxious Fumes).

We Asked Geoff Keighley, host of Summer Games Fest, to weigh in on these decisions.

“It feels really disrespectful, you know? After all that E3 did to the industry and to gamers, they aren’t even going to go to the funeral? Even though I’ll be there to announce which year wins the best E3 award?” said Keighley after telling us to “wrap it up” while asking our question.

“If you ask me though, I think it was well past time for it to go. Every second people were spending at E3 was a second they weren’t watching me talk to Kojima over at Summer Games Fest, which is just unacceptable. I’ve actually made plans to steal the identity of the english narrators for Nintendo Directs, so I can be a part of their eulogy.”

I'm pretty sad at E3's passing. Even if it was on a decline and has become largely unnecessary, it still held a lot of historical and emotional value to me.

I remember being so excited for E3 as a kid, and now it just feels like part of my childhood has died.

I am struggling to get into RDR2 :/ it’s just so clunky and slow.

albeit there has been the occasional moment of brilliance in my 10 hours of play, I just don’t find anything in it particularly engaging

I’ve tried replaying it twice because there are some really great moments I want to replay, and I never finished the epilogue, but woof, some of the stuff in between is a drag

Same. I have plenty of fond memories of the 2 - 3 days I would spend sitting around with friends and 1) guessing what will be announced 2) discussing what was announced

  18. I have two favorite deck archetypes for each character; my favorite cards to build around are

    red: Fire Breathing, Perfect Strike
    green: Accuracy, Corpse Explosion
    blue: Storm, Electrodynamics
    purple: Pressure Points, Worship

Now that E3 is dead dead, I expect no less but the finest E3 fail compilations in its honor.

    Some favorite E3 blunders

    -Mr. Caffeine
-Pelé pulling a Grandpa Simpson on stage for EA’s conference promoting FIFA and telling a random story for like 5-10 minutes while the interviewer awkwardly listened to him.
-Nintendo announcing the Wii U and spent the entire reveal on the controller and not the console itself.
    -The Peggle 2 jump
    -Sony’s 2006 conference
    -The Kinect reveal

Honestly, they fit the overall theme of cool booths that went to the wayside, gaming mags used to have all kinds of photos of cool booths.
