So far the only things I'm really disliking in Wake II is the frequent and annoying jump scare attempts with the B&W cur-ins and spoiler for return chapter 5? Dodging fish lady Cynthia and her subsequent boss fight which sucked shit

 

Player's Log: Trails of Cold Steel.

I finished my first run, started the second run. I was able to get all the bonding achievements except for Sara and Towa so I'm going to make sure to get them on this run.

The ending is the most cliffhangery cliffhanger I've seen in this series thus far. I mean, Sky FC and Azure also both ended on cliffhangers, but there was still a sense of finality about the game's main conflict. Estelle and Joshua stopped the coup, and the SSS recovered KeA. But here? No finality. Valimar escapes with Rean against his will, leaving his friends to face Crow alone in an uncertain conflict. Nothing is resolved.

So you can believe I'm chomping at the bit to get to Cold Steel II, so I'm gonna fly through this second run, and I'm gonna fly FAST.

I also ran into that dumb glitch again that crashed the game, this time during the final battle. I had to turn my trainer off to get through it, which either means the trainer itself crashed the game, which isn't ideal, or something I activated crashed it, which is fine if I can figure out what it was. Otherwise, I'll just deal with it as it comes, now that I know what causes it.

Player's Log: Trails of Cold Steel.

I'm at the Field Study for Chapter 4 in my second run. I am fucking flying through this game since I'm skipping all the dialogue and running everywhere.

The one achievement I'm most annoyed about is the one where I have to cancel enemy arts 100 times. I get annoyed with this achievement in every game, since I crush every opponent, so finding a proper enemy to do this with is difficult, because it requires patience and repetitive action. Currently I've only cancelled 31 times, so I have a ways to go.

Other than that, no other achievement should really pose a challenge to me. It's just about being cognizant of getting what I missed the first time around. I already got the monster scan I missed and got that achievement. There's a character bit I missed, a book I missed. Little things.

I'm really hoping to knock this out of the park if not tomorrow, then at least the day after.

And then I can move on to Cold Steel II!

I got sf6 and sifu I’ll get stray another time. also doom 2016 is like 4 bucks so why not that too. My steam library is getting insane lol I can’t help grab things on sale

between fortnite, rollerdrome, miles morales, super Mario rpg, plus some other stuff I dabble in occasionally like hades, dead cells, Mario wonder and many, many more the last thing I need to be doing rn is buying more games
