There's like a twin stick or something Humble Bundle, got The Ascent plus six games I hadn't heard of, a few of them rogues it looks like

Who's our resident rogues master? Heard of these?

 

is there a known issue with steam and Bluetooth headphones? my audio keeps dropping out. very frustrating. maybe my mobo has a Bluetooth issue.

 

me but switch all of them out for need for speed prostreet, burnout dominator, whichever legend of Spyro was out that year and sonic riders zero gravity

Should I have started KH1 before KH2? I just went with 2 because everyone seems to say it's the best one. But like.. I'm 2 hours in and haven't seen a single Disney character yet lol

 

Simultaneously the most fun console and the worst console because it had a life of like 2 months before encountering a red ring of death

But we all played it anyway and sent it in cuz the games were worth it

yes, bc you’re probably going to be confused for like half of the game

 

If ever there was a series where you should go in order in order to actually understand the plot, Kingdom Hearts is it.

Even then you may not understand the plot, it's that dense and convoluted.

BTW, you not only want to have played 1 before 2, but also have some knowledge of what happens in Chain Of Memories before 2.

 

Oh really? I heard the plot was kind of a mess with a lot of contradictions between games so that's why I didn't think it mattered. But cool, I'll give that a shot

 

The plot is a mess but that doesn't mean it's not still important to be able to have some idea what's happening.

 

There’s also not any contradictions. It’s confusing sometimes but it all buttons up mostly. My hot take is it’s not that confusing, people just don’t want to understand it lol

Luckily I do have a save for KH1 already, I just didn't go past the intro. I do wish you could control the camera in KH1 like in KH2 and I like the use of the triangle button in KH2

 

I'm sure it makes sense in the same way that Inception makes sense.

 

It’s not confusing as much as unnecessarily broken up to oblivion between the stupid side games preventing a lot of the cohesion that would happen from more natural storytelling from taking place

It can be very fun though and KH1 has a special place in my heart (ayyy)

 

This certainly doesn't help, for sure.

Actually, it kind of makes me think of the MCU's problem with Marvel TV in that trying to make all the TV shows truly interconnected with the films only serves to gatekeep and frustrate a large amount of people.

By the same token, you wouldn't think all the handheld spin-offs would have such relevance to the main numbered titles, but they do.

Yeah it works for people, just not as much for me. But I was able to navigate 1 and 2 well without others

 

Being able to play this on a handheld is so rad. Full speed, upscaled 4x to 1080p, with widescreen patches with no real stretching . I'm loving it.

Yeahhhhh you're gonna be lost lol. KH1 definitely has the most Disney in it and the simplest (if that word can ever be used to describe KH) plot. After 1 is when Nomura went balls to wall with his craziness.

Yeah, this is the worse part of it. A bunch of side games that are advertised as such but then you find out they’re plot critical is a wild thing to do. Especially when they weren’t on the same console until recently.

 

KH would benefit so much from FF16’s active time lore
