feeling very giddy in ways I haven’t felt in years for that game this week btw. some people have it early and the impressions are great. I can proudly say I was optimistic from nearly the beginning, which is definitely not my normal disposition.

 

I happened to stumble upon some smite content creators and it turns out they talk about how HiRez is downsizing by a bunch because smite 2 hasn’t been a hit with people.

I generally don’t know why they thought it was a good idea lol

 

As someone who has completed it, it’s a pretty great game overall with some minor issues. It doesn’t really change the narrative but it’s a fun platformer with some puzzles built in. I don’t really understand the hand holding argument as the game can get challenging at times and you might have a hard time knowing where to go or what to do. Sure, the game does the typical thing of showing you how to do things but it seems more of a complaint from someone that quit playing after the first couple of chapters. I do think the accessibility features are very cool and allows a lot of players to experience it.

 

Discord is truly the wild wild west, moba servers letting anyone casually use slurs and then pokemon ones threatening to ban you for calling someone a nerd lol

 

The second Varnham fight in PoP The Lost Crown was no joke

 

Also really cool cutscene revealing he’s the real prince of Persia!

I started the PS5 remaster of Judgment. Holy shit the engine got a glowup. If this is what the PS5 versions of LaD7/8/ishin look like, WOW.
