ngl Ghost of Yotei is the most hyped I've been on a sequel game in forever. And only like a 5 year turnaround since GoT? Good shit

 

Anyone have any thoughts on Nine Sols or Crypt Custodian?

Going to be away from home, but technically just half hour away, while helping someone out for a few days as they recover from surgery. so a lot of down time for me. Interested in picking up either one to play during that four days.

 

I really enjoy what I've played of Nine Sols so far

I wish it did a bit more "show don't tell" but it's great

 

I haven't gotten Nine Sols yet but it seems pretty popular on metroidvania reddits

 

I've had it on my wishlist for a while, but haven't pulled the trigger yet due to the price. But maybe I say fuck it.

 

I didn't really fuck with Nine Sols. Just felt so amateurish and cheaply done and the combat is very reactive and cumbersome. Idk. I heard it's worth it to stick with it as it gets better and more interesting around 5 hours in.

 

That said please ignore the reports about ReFantazio's performance. Yes, it sucks shit and is clearly broken but the game is SO GOOD and so interesting.

 

Hadn't heard anything about this. Still plan on buying physical on day one but going to avoid the demo. Hoping a decent patch comes out soon enough.

Why are you avoiding the demo? Just wondering. It’s the prologue and progress carries over. And it’s SO GOOD.

 

Wanting to finally finish Infinite Wealth before this comes out. Also trying to get through Phoenix Wright before it comes off Game Pass. If I get through this quickly though I might dip into the demo, it looks incredible.
