One of the first games I ever played. If you've never played it, this remaster would be well worth checking out.

 

I've heard they removed the additions from the last remaster, is this true?

 

Apparently so, they seem to have focused more on polishing the original this time around. Getting rid of the 'Paris in the fall' opening was an insane choice for the last release.

 

Kind of annoying to not include the Nico chapters though. I prefer new releases of a game to be definitive versions whenever possible.

 

Yeah the Nico chapters were a nice addition. I'll maybe play through the Director's Cut again soon, been meaning to go back to them all for a while.

Days Gone has had a surge of positive reviews on Steam recently and it's definitely coming off as people are mad at Sony and want to just bandwagon the dev who keeps saying dumb shit.

 

Days Gone: the gameplay loop is mid, but at least all the characters are unlikable
