Picked up Lies of P and I’m really digging it so far, it’s like easier Sekiro

 

Ok, it is going to be a bit before I platinum this game. 99% of the Trophies are very straightforward but there are a couple of challenge levels and especially the end game one: oh boy. Overall, I would say the game is fantastic and I had a lot fun but the main game was pretty easy, almost too easy. The special abilities are great and the enemy designs are cool. The bosses are the best part of the whole game, it was so great using all the tricks and abilities I had learned to take them down and they were not difficult at all and if I failed it was my own fault. The graphics are fantastic and all the sounds, especially the ones coming from the controller were a nice addition. I am not sure if I would call it my GOTY but it is a great game that everyone should play and it has definitely rekindled my love for platformers. Highly recommended.

 

Hmmmmmmm GameStop offering $410 for a series x or PS5...... I'm only playing DA:I on gamepass and star field is only exclusive in my backlog. I may just trade it in now, that way I keep a PS until the pro drops.

 

I’m just going through Astro’s Playroom again and it’s such a fun little mini game or concept of whatever.

I really hope Sony continues to back Astro Bot and more content because it does suffer from the one and done thing they are known for. They could really expand upon new Galaxy's based upon different worlds/video games. The one game that it really did remind me of besides Mario Galaxy is Skylanders which were honestly really incredible 3D platformers that had that same lighthearted feel to them.

I have platinumed Astro Bot and here are my thoughts. putting is spoilers for those who haven't beaten the game yet

- top 3 3d platformers ive ever played. Mario Odyssey and Crash Bandicoot 4 being the other 2. Not sure where this ranks between them, but I don't think its number 3
- final villain is somewhat generic, but it doesn't hinder the game. would've been cool if they had like astro sepiroth as the final boss
- give me more challenge levels. I loved the breeziness of the game, but the challenge levels are the stuff I love and the level design in those are superb
- I don't think I've ever played a game this technically flawless. Graphics are unbelievable, did not run into a single bug, everything is smooth as butter. A masterclass
- bruh the shrinking level
- loved loved loved the slowdown levels and how the integrated the throwing of the cards and knives to create new platforming in there
- took me about 15 hours total to platinum. could not recommend more

 

Yeah, definitely not a hard platinum. Agree with almost almost everything, including how I wish it was a bit more challenging.

Grinding coins at the end was a bit annoying for me personally.

 

Agreed. The thing that took me the longest was just getting the gatcha balls because I didn't have the funds to get all of them

You know you can call them all together and have all 300 dance at once?

 

yeah that's what I ended up doing but I did not realize I could call them all together until I accidentally hit triangle lol
