AW2 still isn't profitable? Last I saw it was at 80% and that was a few months ago.....so hopefully they're closer now.

Interesting partnership though. It'll be cool to see the universe expanded into different mediums.

 

I know they dont qualify for royalties or whatever yet.

 

Alan Wake show or movie seems like a no brainer

 

Hell I wouldn't be surprised if we got a show that ISN'T AW or control but it's set in the universe that features into the games lore later.

 

I've been replaying Control after wrapping up the Night Springs DLC for AW2. I just beat the base game and am now playing through the DLCs for the first time. I never loved the combat, namely the bullet spongey enemies, so I've been playing with the 'one hit kill' option enabled and while I wouldn't recommend it for a first playthrough, it has been a blast. I feel like John Wick lol. It's also nice to focus on the story and do some more exploration. Once I beat the DLCs, I'm gonna play AW2 again to get the true ending. I'm definitely Remedy-pilled at this point so give me all of the media and sequels.

 

Metaphor is my most anticipated now

Xalatath as a villain is really doing it for me. I’m only passingly familiar with what happened in shadowlands and have absolutely no fucking clue what happened in dragonflight but it’s nice to care about the lore again because I haven’t given a shit about the story since the seige of orgrimmar a decade (!!!!!) ago

I’m not even 100% sure tbh but I heard rumours that it could be coming next year although im sure Altus doesn’t want a repeat of how persona 5 was revealed and how that constantly got delayed. I’m putting my money for next year unless they got some more ports in the works
