i think paid "early access" via deluxe pre orders is horse shit and people get what they deserve but also jesus fucking christ

 

I forgot, that weird Crytek game is one too.

basically you take a mission, you go to the map, you either make it back out with the XP and stuff you collected alive, i.e. you extract, or you don’t.

there’s NPCs you gotta kill and other players you can either ally yourself with or also kill. Or just ignore. But really you just wanna kill them so you can get their stuff.

it’s really cool and tense.

 

i mustve got confused when they released that rainbow six extraction game in 2015 and i started associating the term extraction with rainbow six

 

Fun fact: rainbow six extraction — not an extraction shooter. BUT a truly excellent co-op experience.

rocket league has licensed music now and all it plays for me is ska and I love it

Extraction Shooter - TV Tropes

Your mileage may vary on how much you agree with this, but I think this defines things fairly well.

 

No one, not even its own community! We want(ed) them to invest back into the game not trend chase an extremely niche genre that is taking so much money and dev time away from D2. My most played activity is PVP in Destiny and I came to Destiny because I played and loved all the Halos PVP and I'm not touching Marathon especially if it's changing to a HERO extraction pvp game like rumored lol

 

Sounds like the real extraction is removing Bungie from this pickle they're in.

 

Tarkov is one of the most stress for gaming experiences I’ve had but when you got out with your gear it was a good feeling. Also backpacks all the way down…

It’s one of the best games I’ve ever played in my life and I’m gonna play it for a fifth time once it cools down a bit weather wise it’s a good chill late summer early fall game to play

the only reason I’m starting is because I’m finally up there on Fortnite levels so I can back off plus 4 day weekend means all the time in the world

I haven’t even done the first main mission really and I have like 10 side quests lmao

 

Sorry I didn’t read the post for while after I posted. My meaning of cooked was all the recent layoffs and terrible stuff that dude was doing to the females at Bungie. Obviously getting rid of him was good

 

Get out of the first zone as soon as possible it’s just a little tutorial zone basically lol

 

I really like the war within. Like a lot. I could not get into dragonflight or shadowlands at all, barely made it past either first zone. I’m almost to the third zone in this one and can’t stop playing

 

my main mission is killing the griffin and like the 10 side missions have me seeing ghosts and finding pans

 

Every time you post "the war within" I keep wanting to make the same dumb Shadows Fall joke.
