based on this trailer, looks like the boneheads at bamco are serious about making the older tales games more accessible

 

GOOD. Stuff locked behind the GCN/PS2/PS3/etc need to be ported or remade. There was that Xillia remake/remaster rumor too but I'm wanting Tales if the Abyss!

 

Actually started that one on the 3DS but if that’s true I can wait :o

 

That's one I was surprised never got ported. It went from PS2 to 3DS and that was it, and it's a fairly popular Tales imo.

Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy comes out April 24th in Japan for Switch and Steam, with the English version coming at a later unannounced date.

Not in the presentation, but Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince is now coming to Steam on September 11th. It will have all the DLC but will not have the Online Battles network mode.

Finally, Konami announced they're releasing a remake of Tokimeki Memorial called Tokimeki Memorial: forever with you Emotional on Switch in 2025 in Japan. No word on a worldwide release, but I'm hoping. It's a classic of the genre, and deserves to be translated.

Some site mentioned the difference in views towards the last game genre. We get a goofy one and Japan gets a remake of a classic
