Finally playing some Modded Minecraft again, performance of these packs has come a long way from when I last played.

started playing Cast Away, the little Link's Awakening inspired game that just released. Into it already. Will be a nice little palate cleanser after finishing Trails to Azure last night.

 

At first I thought this was like Sony and Mega Man Legends, but this is actually more plausible even if Deadpool was a multiplatform game.

High Moon Studios is owned by Activision which is in turn owned by Microsoft. It checks out.

Alright I’m off work Tuesday and Wednesday next week I want to finish fire emblem three houses (two chapters left) and go buy thousand year door and a couple other pick ups at my local store depending on their stock. xenoblade chronicles 2 would be nice but I’ve also yet to play the links awakening remake

 

Finally finished XBC3. 152 hours for the main game and I still didn't do EVERYTHING lol. Ducking fantastic game. 2nd bear xeno title, right behind Gears. This game is SO like the perfect embodiment of the xeno title, I could totally see Gears' DNA throughout. My only negative is it didn't feature any of the pre world stuff that was prevalent in 1 and 2's final segments. I do hear the DLC is exactly that though so I'm definitely excited to dig into that next. Speaking of ending segments, this game's final part, after the final point of no return was full of crazy mecha and I only wish we had more.

Ending was frickin heartbreaking tho. Someone's cutting onions around here.

 

I cried a lot I still need to play both 1 and 3’s DLCs

 

I mean I KNOW there's dlc that continues this but after 1 and 2 having pretty definitive endings that left you satisfied.....this game rips your heart out leaving you asking questions and begging to know what's next?!

 

I feel like I haven't played a game from start to finish in years

 

Very dumb you can't tell xbox to stop giving you the "You've earned enough rewards points for a $x gift card" message anytime you buy something on their platform.

 

Wow, you guys weren’t kidding. The Batmobile stuff in Arkham Knight is pretty awful.

The Riddler made a race course? What the actual fuck? It’s so so bizarre they did this. Going from Asylum to City felt good. Being able to really grapple around the city felt so freeing and exciting. Every time I’m in the Batmobile, I want to die. It feels like I’m drunk driving. And I have to drive on roofs? They really had to integrate the car into everything? Yikes.

I kind of want to just look up the cutscenes and quit the game. Falling off a roof in a car and having to lap around to try again is not fun. At all.

 

It's a great game held back by a terrible mechanic

 

I started XBC3 back in February and have started over half a dozen games since and finally decided to finish it this weekend. My backlog needs pruning!

 

I’m sure. The first two were great. I just don’t understand why they went so heavy into it. Fuck, I’ve only played like an hour or two and I’m sick to death of it. How could they think taking away all the cool Batman shit for so much to just drive a car was a good idea? Like, yes, I can jump out and do my normal cool Batman stuff, but so much is locked behind using the car. Horrendous decision making.
