I'm seeing good things about it and the graphics make it looks pretty nice!

Just doesn't interest me personally. not a fan of avatar or the character designs, so that alone is enough to put me off.

 

It has a lot more survival aspects than Far Cry. Also, it's a different dev and a different engine haha.

and yeah the graphics are out of this fucking world.

Again, this is not an endorsement of the game, I just noticed a lot of the writing that happened about that game has been very sloppy and aggressively reductionary.

for whatever reason i got to thinking about the 007 game series and recent entries since i felt like it's been a while since i've seen one talked about
like, the other Pierce Brosnan games, Agent Under Fire and Nightfire, i liked those despite the lukewarm reception, maybe it's mostly nostalgia (also, Goldeneye Rogue Agent)

i looked it up and i didn't even realize a few others got made for Daniel Craig! which i guess weren't received super well, and i've never heard anyone talk about them

but apparently there's been a new one in the works since 2020 from IO Interactive?? the Hitman devs! which is perfect, those games should have more of an espionage angle to them.
