I’m officially unemployed and brother I am going to JFG

 

gonna try Honkai for the first time

 

The five months I didn’t work were pretty productive for my gaming I didn’t necessarily finish a bunch of games but I dipped my toes into a ton and got a good feel for a lot of things on my backlog. And of course I was able to finish I think somewhere around 8-10 games in that time

 

I got about three weeks before Blizzard takes me by the throat for the war within.

 

I guess I also played about 10 hours of dragons dogma 2 but it runs so bad on my pc I can’t start it again til I at least upgrade my ram

I got back into slay the spire recently and made it to the boss of act 2 for the first time but sadly came up short but I’m starting to really understand how to build a solid deck for the classes. Like my last run with the ironclad was obscene with how much damage output I had with inflicting vulnerable and buffing strength

 

Ender lilies is great

 

Metroid dread is awesome so far

 

So much for that independence.

Sony laid off Destiny’s senior narrative designer, narrative lead for The Final Shape, senior production engineers, VFX artists, environment artists etc

 

Beating someone with a hammer should be allowed imo

 

Parsons spent over 2mill since 2023 on cars, probably close to 3mil after taxes, fees, registration, etc.

fucking scum. so sad about everyone being laid off, Robert Brookes especially who was the lead on TFS narrative and brought such a satisfying ending to a 10-year saga.

 

Somehow doesn’t give me confidence in that game continuing past this year!

 

Hermen is good people and generally knows what he is doing.

Sucks what happened at Bungie but the mismanagement was happening under Jim Ryan.

 

Mismanagement has been a Bungie staple since 2000. I still don’t see anything concrete about Herman heading Bungie? Is Grubb saying that he’s basically Parsons babysitter now or that Parsons is on his way out?

 

First big boss down moving onto second zone I cannot put this down

 

Yeah I think destiny 2 is done and the company is gearing up to move on

was not expecting the amount of like, traversal puzzle solving type things you do in metroid dread. so satisfying crawling around a place with no power and finally stumbling upon the generator for the area

 

i guess now might be a good time to add this is my first metroid game ever
