I like action RPGs obviously but I hate the menu aspect of Kingdom Hearts combat

I make it work but it’s not for me which is weird cuz I’m fine with FFXII

 

It’s pretty dope imo it’s like ff remake rebirth

 

I've settled into a pretty good rotation of games

Pentiment and Persona 3 Reload when I want to play a more narrative focused game that doesn't take too much energy.

El Paso Elsewhere and Neon White when I want to do some shooty stuff

TOEM when I want to have an easy, breezy laugh.

Rock Band or Forza when I want to zen out with a game.

and Slay The Spire ascension levels when I want to challenge myself. Pretty great lineup of games atm

I got that from my friend when we did secret Santa last Christmas and I still haven’t even opened it. I need to get my shit together

 

I played the demo a bit, just long enough to know it’s extremely my shit

 

Fun fact, I had to drop every second frame and compress that gif like fifteen fucking times to get it down to a size that would allow me to post it. Worth it though.

Rebirth is a certified classic to me because I loved the stuff I loved about it more than anything else but the stuff I hated I forget about until I “remember that part” which is how I feel about other classics like KH2, MGS3, etc

 

Pentiment check-in Act IV The dream sequence where Andreas' "talks" to his dead child which we haven't learned about until this point is incredibly effective and now I'm crying before work

Got Ys VIII amd Star Ocean 2 on PC (had them on switch) both perform way better obvi but ESPECIALLY YS VIII idk how tf I played that on switch i’m so spoiled now.

Sameee. I just did her story mission and she was fun to play, I was supposed at how much I enjoyed that part.

 

It’s so funny playing games on a platform other than switch especially for me with a switch lite. I booted monster hunter rise on ps5 and almost had a stroke

 

Player's Log: Batman: The Brave And The Bold

Finished Episode 1 of the Wii version of Batman and this is a really fun and well-crafted game. If the first episode is any indication, then it's made up of multiple stages that are well-designed and full of neat things to look at and easter eggs to notice. Plus the banter between Batman and Robin is very entertaining. Looking forward to playing through the whole thing.
