Yeah you need more than an hour to even get a peek at everything. The tutorial is usually 45 mins long so you just got a tiny glimpse before everything else opens up. But yeah gacha isn't for everyone. Sure it's predatory, but Hoyo games have a polish that others have failed to recreate. Battle system is fun, good story, nice waifus and husbandos so whatever appeals to you, there's a reason they're a multi billion dollar company.

I have Fortnite. I don’t need another game to keep pinching my wallet.

Btw I became a firm supporter of mobile gaming while on vacation.

The weird thing is, this isn't the first time they've had that promotion, it's just the first time they've ACTIVELY promoted it lol. It happens every few months because I always tell a friend who doesn't have Plus.

In the grand scheme of things it's nothing really. One single pull and some enhancement mats and some energy. Feel free to play it! Just don't expect anything generous lol.
No such thing! There's never too late! .......that just means you have PLENTY of content to enjoy :]

4 years of Genshin and however long Honkai has been around....uh....money has been spent lol. Quite a bit.... funnily enough my ratio is like 90/10 Genshin to Honkai. I only bought the $80 BOGO at launch to get Seele and haven't needed to spend since.

Trying not to spend in ZZZ (yet). I got Grace in my 2nd multi, which is who I wanted anyways so we'll see who I get once I hit 50 pulls for the guaranteed.

Take arms, it'll all blow over Prestigious

I've dropped shameful amounts of money on Ultimate Team modes in Madden in years past, which is the stupidest thing to do since whatever cards you get are gonna get replaced weeks to months later.

Learned my lesson and don't touch those modes in sports games anymore.

I never finished Indivisible but I really enjoyed my time with it. The combat does take a bit of getting used to, so I'd look into it and see if it's up your alley first.

Deaths door is a modern classic. It is a bit hard, but I think it's a very balanced hard. Like, most challenging parts will take 3-4 tries.

    Player's Log: WayForward Stuff.

I finished Contra 4 and all the RetroAchievements associated with it. Looking forward to when I eventually get to Operation Galuga.

I then played some Wendy: Every Witch Way and got some achievements there, but I stopped after a while to try something else. I'll come back to it, but I don't think I'll get every achievement as some of them seem a little tedious, like trying to get through levels without killing anything and/or getting hit. Not really into those kinds of achievements, frankly.

I played a little of a game called Mighty Flip Champs, specifically the DX version on the PSP. It's a very intriguing puzzle game where you're given multiple variations of a platformer screen and you have to navigate said screen by flipping between each variation to find the one that lets you progress. It makes more sense in practice, I think.

It's really quite inventive, but there are no RetroAchievements and it started to get a little tedious. Might be something I tackle a bit at a time.

Anyway, I said I was going to start Batman: The Brave And The Bold, and I did, the DS version. I've actually beaten it before, but it's been a very long time and I'm very rusty. I did want to use cheats to breeze through, but unfortunately the Infinite Health code in RetroArch doesn't work properly on either region version.

I actually found the Discord home of the people responsible for the database, so I brought it to their attention to see if I can get a working code. We'll see. I might switch to the Wii version instead in the meantime, presuming those codes work.

Yes, I do realize eventually I'll have to play a game without cheating, but that day is not today.
