I finally started playing Pentiment, I'M LEARNING A LOT about 16th century Europe and the Benedictines.

Lovely vibe so far.

 

Returnal 2 please I am begging you

 

Hades 2 had another update a few days ago but I was too busy on my third playthrough of Outer Worlds to notice. mostly balance changes and new UI icons. a few interesting changes to crossroads cauldron and altar of ashes. sounds like their next update will be a big one tho

speaking of Outer Worlds, i started out the playthrough fully intent on going all the way with the Board but now i think I'm gonna backstab them at the last minute. I just cant go through with the bad ending, in any game. i hate being evil, or even just mean. but I did make my character dumb, so I might skip the Hope into the sun just to see how that goes haha

Does this mean I’m finally trying Returnal when I finish the last three chapters of Rebirth?

 

It really is one of the best rogues ever

i generally like rogues but i've yet to play deathloop or returnal, idk if the latter is even on pc rn?

you don't have to make everything perfect haha but i totally get the desire to do so. it really shouldn't be stressful!

Those first two Haxan Cloak records are some of the eeriest listening experiences I've ever had.

I need to do Returnal some time.

 

The house in Returnal is the scariest shit since PT. Fuck Bobby Krlic for that lol

I bought RE4R but ended up not playing it lol. I don’t give a shit about horror movies because they don’t scare me but video games are another story.

 

I literally had to pause the ground zero level in TLOU2 every 30 seconds to make it through lol

 

Yeah first time I came across that I was like oh okay it’s a horror game

 

I haven't played TLOU2 but I think RE4R is significantly less scary than anything in TLOU1.

(Chainsaw guys are aggravating tho)

Who's to say you can't roam the Lands of Shadow looking for new creatures to murder and not also look fabulous doing it?

 

Returnal kicks ass, I wish the steam deck could run it so I could play it there too

 

Player's Log: Sigma Star Saga.

Been a while since I said anything about this game. I'm now saved outside the room that will eventually lead to the final boss. I've obtained all the gun data, which will all carry into New Game+. I also went on a bit of a monster hunt finding rare and interesting fauna to murder, and got the achievements relating to those.

Tomorrow I'll tackle the final boss and I've got a copy of my save ready to swap in so I can try to get two endings with one stone. I'll get the worst ending first and get the better ending afterward.

Then I'll be ready for New Game+, which I'll need to play if I want the final two endings, betterer and betterest. The good thing is since I've already obtained all the gun data and found all the rare fights, I really have no reason to fight any more random space battles at all.

Therefore, I'm going to play my second run like so: infinite everything, random battles turned off, level 99. That means I can focus on getting any leftover achievements and just zip through the game.

I'm hoping to finish this at least by the end of the week, after which I'll finally start on the next game in my WayForward list, which is a little game they did on Nintendo DS for Konami called Contra 4.

 

in all honesty, not trying to gate keep, but Returnal does not sound like something you specifically would enjoy.
