there is a real problem of too many hands in the pot slowing down production but I don’t think that’s why Ubisoft laid them off no matter what they say

Gahhhh came so close to the fist boss of returnal with a great build fuuuuck

 

The key to Returnal is through exploration. You‘ll get so beefed up nothing can stop you.

 

Oh I know I scour the entire first level before heading down to the boss

 

I’ve only gotten four attempts in so far and the last one I should’ve had it I made some bad moves in the first phase

 

When I get frustrated with returnal I switch over the ghost runner 2 for some balance. I mean it’s frustrating too just differently

 

The first boss is a total gatekeeper to the rest of the game and very much OP.

 

Most everyone probably owns it at this point, but I feel the need to point out Celeste is $2. At that price, you need to play it. It has plenty of accessibility options if you’re worried about it being too hard.

Yeah the leech rounds are a total crutch and frankly what helped me finish the game the first time around. Now I can play it semi blindfolded.

the first boss is frustrating because you’re still short a few mechanics that really make the game interesting.

the good news is that once you‘ve beaten him you’ll never have to look at him again.

now I wish I knew what housemarque is working on

 

There’s like a very good assist mode if I remember correctly that gives you extra jumps/dashes and makes it so you basically can’t die to stuff in the environment, you only have to worry about not falling.
