Played about half of Still Wakes the Deep. Not normally my style of game, but digging it minus some enemy AI bugs (basically getting stuck in my way to progress and needing me to restart the section).

I am not a JRPG guy and the only DQ game I have ever played was the first Monsters game on Gameboy when I was a kid, but the look/feel of this remake have me really intrigued.

 

DQ11 was my first one and I absolutely love that game. If you're open to being swayed by a JRPG that could be the one to do it, game's so charming.

 

I really like the concept of that Looney Tunes sports game that is reminiscent of NBA Jam, so it is unfortunate that it looks like absolute dogshit.

A lot of performative nerdiness in that room during those, filled with a lot of guys trying to out react eachother every announcement.

 

The sauna thing is bad and gross enough on its own, but then he has to double down by suggesting the person in question had "a lot of time" to "prove him wrong" that an authentic sauna scene could be written without sauna experience. Like what even is that?

 

Dead Cells is top tier. picked up some of the DLC I was missing and getting some runs in.

 

Another reason why retaining talent is important: IP won’t be left to die if people that worked on them stick around

Getting a new weapon and upgrading it right before clock tower boss is super vital. Also just focusing on one color for your build.

 

Weapons upgrade so much in the shops the further in the run you get

 

I’ve been pretty good about my builds and re rolling attributes to match my skills

I think every non JRPG fan should play through dragon quest XI

 

Live A Live is half off. Anyone play it? I like the art style from what I’ve seen.
