That’s fair, I didn’t see much that interested me but I also was expecting more so that’s ultimately on me.

 

can’t believe that I get promising Silent Hill and MGS remakes this year

 

I want cel-shading to make a true comeback in gaming graphics. This era of 4K TVs and Dolby Vision/HDR is a prime time to make really colorful ass cel shaded games.

 

Man the fact that I can play BOTW on an android device as well as it runs on my Switch is blowing my mind rn

 

Ori 2 was made by a cancel-culture decrying man baby who lives down the street from my brother so I am trying not to think of it too much, but, in a just world where Thomas Mahler isn't a huge piece of shit... yeah man, Ori 2 is gorg.

 

Does Ori 2 still run like shit on Switch? The main reason I've been holding off on it

 

apparently only the cartridge version is/was fucked, the eShop one is fine.

So in today's Epic leak, besides stuff like PC versions of Last Of Us Part II and Final Fantasy XVI and the remake of FFIX, there was also what's assumed to be an official translation of this:

 

I've been wondering the same thing about Cult of the Lamb too. I got it at launch on the Switch, and it ran great at first, but after many hours, things just start getting slower, and glitches would get way worse. I gave up. I kept playing against bosses and the exit door wouldn't unlock after beating them so I'd have to force reboot the game.

 

I like to give credit to the artists, not that weirdo. lol

 

dragon age 2 played like this it just had so many reused areas and assets due to long development but if the quests and environments are varied this is a more than welcome way to lay out the game

Player's Log: Shantae

So I made a bunch of progress tonight and now I've gotta start it all over cause I'm being a pain in the ass to myself. Allow me to explain.

To emulate i use a frontend called Launchbox and the emulator Swiss Army knife that is RetroArch. Now, I didn't know that RetroArch had an update, just like I also didn't know my roms of Shantae (and Wendy: Every Witch Way for that matter) weren't the supported roms for RetroAchievements, which I was really hoping to make use of because I do so love getting achievements.

So I got all the way to the end of the first big dungeon level in Shantae before I decided to take a look and find out what was up, and eventually I unspooled the thread and got the right ROM, except RetroAchievements won't recognize the work I've already accomplished.

Soooo, I have to start over, because I want those achievements, goddammit. I covet them so.

Anyway, I'm definitely cheating in Shantae and I'm a lot saner for it, cause I can tell under normal circumstances this game would be obnoxiously hard. The range of the hair is so hard to gauge and enemies don't give a fuck.

Also annoying is the way to perform dances in the game to transform. You have to enter button combinations in time with a series of arrows, but nowhere does the game explain that you have to press a button, wait until the arrows finish, then press the next button. I'm here slamming buttons like a crazy person wondering if the emulator or ROM is glitched.

Tomorrow, I guess I'll start over from the beginning. I may even replay Wendy for those achievements. Jury's out on Xtreme Sports.

Fortnite and Roblox push hard for in-game purchases because they're free, but don't forget about CS2. The skin prices there are crazy. Even the cases you need to get those skins can be super expensive. I found a list on Most Expensive CS2 Cases with the most costly CS2 cases, and the top one costs $80. That's wild! These games know how to get into your wallet, even though they're free to play. It's good to be aware of how these pricing strategies work so you only spend what you planned.
