I admire your enthusiasm for Dragon Age dude. It legit is making me want to get more familiar with the series becuase I havent tried much.

I was most likely going to get Veilguard anyway, but that gameplay video looked great to me so I’m even more excited now.

I just hope it’s at least a somewhat decent hit because I still have doubts that we’re actually going to get another Mass Effect.

Im sorry brother, I really didn’t meant to curb your or someone else‘s enthusiasm, I am sure the people at BioWare are putting their hearts and souls into this game, it doesn’t really matter if it does or doesn’t hit some arbitrary marker for me specially, literally some guy on the internet.

 

Finished up Half Genie Hero and also almost done with Pirate Queen's Quest. Playing as Risky in the latter has similar traversal to Pirate's Curse so I like getting around more, but I do prefer Shantae's spells over Risky's guns combat-wise. But anyway, yeah, this was a really fun way to go through the main game's maps with another set of skills. The dialogue is as funny as ever.

Subnautica is one of the most immersive games I have ever played. I swear I can even smell the ocean sometimes, haha.

 

kind of making me want to revisit the previous games since i remember fuck all. too much else on the plate right now. but i'll keep an eye out for sales.

vast majority of veilguard complaints I’m seeing boil down to two things: it isn’t origins or it’s DEI woke crap. both of those groups can kick rocks. the slim amount of legit criticism I have seen sounds a lot like the final fantasy xvi complaints, they’re changing the party size and you cant control companions etc. and that game (ff xvi) turned out to kick fucking ass so idk even if a change seems bad on the surface I don’t understand why anyone would jump to conclusion or make up their mind before actually playing it. but for those people it doesn’t actually matter because they decided they won’t like anything that changes the formula at all and would be unhappy no matter what. I just choose to be optimistic and focus on all the things that look really good and accept that things change and im not the one who decides what is or isn’t dragon age and I find it really weird when random people on the internet think it’s up to them to decide what belongs in a series they had no hand in creating

 

The deepest I’ve gone has been about 210m but it was a very short visit. I still don’t have the right equipment/vechicle to go that far down.
