....well ok then lol. I ordered on the 23rd and was like hmmm. I see I still have some time haha.

 

Assassins creed odyssey is really good. I’ve only played the first which I enjoyed and black flag which I hated.

 

I’m around level 21 in odyssey right now and really love it. I’ve slowed down a bit from when I initially started by after 15 hours I’ve got a pretty good picture of what the game is like. I’ll likely wind up finishing it at some point but I’m in no rush I’m enjoying the ride.

 

And that’s kind of the thing I’ve found: modern day AC games are extremely enjoyable if you pace yourself, ignore stuff in the game you find boring (if possible) and just go along with the ride without thinking too much about it. It’s a good time and I think Valhalla is the most refined of the RPG trilogy with large swaths of the game you never have to interact with at all in order to finish the story making a lot of the “endlessly bloated and boring” comments ring hollow. I probably finished Valhalla in about 50-60 hours which is about what you expect from a large open world RPG with some dabbling in side activities along the way, it’s certainly no more bloated than FF7 rebirth

Yup. People act like you have to 100% everything, when in actuality you should just play at your own pace and only whatever stuff you ENJOY. No idea why people force themselves to engage with side stuff they don't enjoy.

 

That’s actually funny you say this. When it comes to open world games, I have the problem with not knowing when to stop because there’s always the next thing to do or find and I want to do everything at once. So I make small goals for the day and then turn it off. They’re usually one main quest, three side quests, or unlocking a new region.

 

I’ve been having this problem lately with Odyssey since I tend to play my ps5 later in the evening after I’m done watching sports for the night and I have to tell myself “okay after this side quest or the next story mission or after I upgrade these items I’ll go to bed” or else I’ll stay up way too late

 

About to hit part 2 in three houses very interested to see how the story diverges here now that I’m a blue lion boy who would die for dimitri (and Mercedes)

 

Hades 2 patch this morning, already some significant changes to the way resources are gathered that i really like. before, i must've restarted half a dozen runs because i realized i brought the wrong tool with me.

 

Three houses a top five switch game imo

 

Because I want the achievement.
