Thanks. It's largely not too bad, just the boss fight made it very noticeable haha.

 

Adventures are basically just individual storylines in a single realm. It's as if you're just going to Yaesha and it randomizes all the dungeons and such.

It is co-op. As far as I know everything in the game is intended to be co-op enabled.

Also, remember that every zone is locked to whatever the power level is when you enter it. So if you're having trouble, you can go and level up and then come back. It also scales depending on the amount of players and their levels.

The last boss took me a while. Going in with some builds makes it way easier than others. There's also side quests that make it easier with items and stuff you can get. But I don't want to spoil anything haha.

 

Overall I've enjoyed the game. We were just surprised by how quickly we reached the final boss and figured we missed a bunch of side content or something. We'll probably go back and try adventure and whatnot and see what we can do before attempting the final boss again.

 

Yeah the game is designed for multiple playthroughs especially over multiple difficulties and because everything is randomized there's tons and tons of side missions/dungeons you'll miss including bosses who can be quite difficult.

I missed a ton of stuff and my friend was like "did you see that thing over on Yaesha?" And I would respond "what the heck are you talking about?" because they just had such a different experience than I did. I need to get back to it. I haven't played much since they added loadouts.

 

This is dope as shit.

 

Tonight is the 4th night in a row where my wife and I have thought we were going to beat Baldurs Gate. This one for sure though.

 

What games are you looking forward to in 2024? Silent Hill 2 remake, Tekken 8, Paper Mario TYD remake, and Hades 2 for me!

 

Seconding Ape Out, definitely the closest I've seen to Hotline Miami while entirely maintaining it's own, incredible, style.

Player's Log: Trails Of Cold Steel.

I'm back from CT, and that means I'm back to CS.

I'm now on Day 2 of Chapter 3's field study, which means HORSIES! HORSIES HORSIES HORSIES!

I'd like to get through all of Chapter 3 and 4 tomorrow, but that's probably too much to ask for in one day. Still, gonna try, cause come Monday it's back to work in the real world.
