also, my elite controller (which I love) is showing input delay and like I feel like it just needs to be calibrated, and the internet says the XBOX accessory app there is a 'calibrate controller' option and there just fucking isn't, god damn it

Player’s log: Soulvars

I found Soulsvar in Steam’s deck building sale. Once you press start, you’re immediately put into combat and then exploration of the area. The first hour lacks basic story telling you’d expect, but it comes together eventually.

The combat has both deck building and turn based rpg elements. I’m still a little confused on the baffling, but haven’t lost yet at least. The art style and soundtrack add to the experience.

The sale price of less than $4 is a steal.

 

Anyone with a PS5 experience drifting in the analog stick(s of the controller)? I bought the light blue (PS5 branded) controller maybe a year ago, and have noticed recently that there has been some drift of the left thumbstick while walking, looking, etc in games.

I tried to google it but nothing seems to help. I tried hitting the reset button on the back, turning bluetooth on/off, etc. Anyone ever have this happen? Am I just shit outta luck?

 

^The electrical contact wd-40 helps that in switch controllers, I imagine it would do the same thing for ps5 stick drift?

 

I’ve been having that graphics mess up that I listed for the last few pages and I decided to try and stream the same game and no graphics mess up somewhat so now I’m even more annoyed lol

people keep saying gpu or delete account or soft reset and I’m just like ughhh

 

Drift does happen more or less eventually to all controllers. I got it with the controller that came with the PS5 and ended up buying a newer controller at the time.

Could try what @VanMastaIteHab suggested and see if that does anything

The remake of 1 is already perfect imo but I’m still gonna play the shit out of that. They better bring back the Crimson Heads too.

 

i really disliked the camera angles, so i'm really excited for a more modernized remake

 

I’ve been buying games left and right because my brain is broken but I think Against the Storm is a game I’m going to be sticking with.

Yeah, they’ve started writing but no casting or filming has began. I’d imagine it’s at least 2 years away.
