Everyone tell the thread how much you’re spending

 

Is this like a masochist thing where you act like you're trying to make people feel guilty about their spending habits but the truth is you actually want them to make you feel bad about being broke?

 

Definitely neither just thought it would be fun

 

Like all of that is like 25 and maybe another 10 if I buy the other things I’m interested in lol. I’m not spending too much. Or trying not to

I spent $75 on the Steam sale yesterday

I did it. I ordered a Steam Deck. It doesn’t feel amazing to have bought a piece of tech this far into its life cycle but I figured I have my gaming laptop for AAA titles and most of what I play isn’t that intensive anyway, so as long as the SD can keep up with newer indie games I’ll be happy. Plus I have a pretty big backlog of games on Steam I haven’t played so this will definitely help.

I almost went with a Legion Go just so I could really use it as a 1:1 alternative to my laptop, but as much as I didn’t want to admit it to myself at first, 1-2 hours of battery life just doesn’t seem doable. Plus the detachable controller mechanism seems like junk - the fact that everyone is like “the controllers wobble but they seem fine!” was a huge red flag haha, and constantly tinkering with the software defeats the purpose of a handheld just as much as the battery life.

card 1: Ward 5 - gain 5 shield at the beginning of each turn (Ward reduces by 1 each turn)(shield resets each turn)
card 2: Piety 5 - shield on cards provide 5 more (Piety reduces by 1 each turn)
card 3: gain 1 shield, remove 1 negative status effect
card 4: Double Ward and Piety

after a while I got over 4,000,000 shield per turn and won without playing any attacks
