I wanted to play nba2k24 because ya know I am secretly a sports guy and then I saw it was around like 170 gbs and I was like never mind cancel that lmao

 

i feel like a lot of the major sports games market is taken up by, like, NBA/NFL-Madden/FIFA titles- what are some alternative options for someone looking for a Basketball/American Football game?
main indie sports stuff that comes to mind for me is the billion small golf games out there, lol

((tho to be fair, this may be my sports blindspot talking. i don't pay attention to anything sports related anyway)

 

I’m about to give final fantasy XII a shake. I’m doing this thing where I play a game non stop for 3-4 days in a row then move to something else. So I’ll have a lot of games in the backlog that are halfway done lol

 

Live service foundation? They made the right call.

 

This isn't helpful because they're very old games but I've been playing Backyard Baseball and Backyard Football on my Steam Deck lately

Yeah for baseball try out Super Mega Baseball @AndrewSoup, really fun and more arcade-y. I think the 4th one is the newest? 3rd is prob cheaper and is deff really good still.

Yeah. Not to tell game companies how to price their hard work, but I would've expected $29.99 max.

 

Just in general I wish I had the money to pay full price for things rather than wait for a sale. Once a game is out it's out and that's it, whereas a movie will hit theaters then digital then streaming and physical, comics have individual issues that are then collected in hardcover volumes then paperback then omnibus, musicians have concerts and merch, etc. Games have dlc but it's still additional content that needs to be made afterwards and not the same thing being put out in a different way

PC. The reason for the crashing had to do with the trainer I'm using to cheat. Something I had activated while I was leaving the Beach Vacay apparently caused the game to freak out. My guess is the cheats I'm using for infinite items conflicted with the beach tickets, but I have no real way to confirm that.

Doesn't matter, I just turned off my trainer and was able to successfully return to the Corridor. Now I'm done with my activities and ready to return to the main quest.
