I just hope we can start fresh right into the DLC

I don't want to use the character i already have and I don't wanna put any more time into the base game either.

 

yeah i mean i do kind of want to beat the game again but the character i would like to use for the DLC is on NG+3 so a new character or a way to copy my main over would be ideal

 

Judging from the trailer it seems like you have enter the Land of Shadows by going to Mohg's boss room so could be a chance you need to be pretty far along in the game to enter the DLC

 

Maybe they let you create a character ready for that section of the game or something.

Personally, I have a character at the end of a NG run all ready for the DLC.

 

i quit my job and need to lay low and chill out for the next couple months so its as good a time as any to start fresh. but i need to finish bloodborne first.

I’m looking into getting one for my work trips (lots of overnights), to play games and run some D&D games via FantasyGrounds Unity. Games would be stuff like RocketLeague, Halo, COD, and maybe some city-building type games/Total War type games.

I have asked my buddies about it, who are pretty big PC guys. They are telling me that 32 GB of RAM is an absolute necessity, and I’m just curious if people in here agree with that?

Mainly asking because the cost jump for laptops with 32 GB from 16 GB is quite large due to the accompanying hardware upgrades (newer CPU mainly, GPUs seem to be pretty consistent above 16 GB of RAM). I could get one much sooner with 16 GB, but am fine waiting and getting a 32 GB if some second opinions agree with them!

16GB is the minimum for just like… word processing. 32Gb will also ensure some longevity.

Lenovo had a 32 GB with 2 TB of storage on sale for like $1400 since they announced their new Legion line. I should have pulled the trigger but hesitated and it sold out in like a day, and doesn’t show in their store anymore lol

 

Definitely want 32gb. Can always get a laptop with 16 and put another 16 in


But 32 is the goal for sure

My PC is a desktop but I only have 16 GB and can play basically any modern game *for now*. I do see it starting to show its age a little bit (about 4 years old) and can see myself having to upgrade within the next year or two.

I’ll be honest: when we talk about laptops these days I am just assuming 0% upgradability.

 

I've mostly been eyeballing the math to this point but I'm sure I'll get deeper once I unlock Challenges. All I know is that the retrigger cards are king.

 

I just watched the Nolan Batman trilogy while I was at inpatient treatment and it made me really wanna play the Arkham games

 

When I got my gaming laptop in 2022 and I was flush with way more cash than I have now I got a Laptop with 64GB in Ram and a 2TB SSD.

ADMITTEDLY, the only reason I wanted so much RAM is because modded Minecraft eats it all up

 

Oh man if you haven't played them before you are in for a treat with Asylum and City. Knight has defenders but I'm not one of them.

 

My 15 year old brother just beat knight and liked it a lot it looked pretty cool

 

8.99 for all three is a steal. I had to pick them up for that price.

I’ve had a lot go this morning and feeling overwhelmed, but about to use the Elden Ring trailer as a way to cope.

 

So far my favorite of the Aces is the one that gives you a triple modifier (iirc?) For playing a hand of less than 3 card, my first deeper run was thanks to that, still haven't won though lol.

And yeah I do kinda wish they said here's the number with this combo (before RNG modifiers) it gets tougher to eyeball when you are later in the runs and have a bunch of effects stacking

 

I need to start paying more attention to individual card modifiers but just trying to wrap my head around one concept at a time.

Spare Trousers and Hack carried me to both of my wins thus far, with the latter seeming almost busted with how powerful it can be.
