The music in Doom: TDA is pretty fucking boring compared to the two Mick made if I had to be blunt about it.

 

Jade hasn’t shooed a game since AC1. She’s a uniquely fucking awful executive.

Maybe it’ll pick up more later on but genuinely not having much fun with this one.

I’ve heard the soundtrack doesn’t hold up as well but the gameplay still shines.

Started Doom: TDA on normal and it’s reaaaaally easy. The parry window is like 3 seconds on normal. Might wanna bump up the difficulty a bit.

REALLY enjoying Doom. Started it on Nightmare and it’s the perfect challenge. I do miss the Mick Gordon soundtracks but it still sounds great and the combat is perfect. Adding the parrying is a great addition.

 

i started up Rachet & Clank Rift Apart for the first time in a while- apparently i haven't played it since Jan 2023!! ...and i'm only like 5% into the game, lmao
whelp, time to make some more progress

 

IW Chapter 12: Mannnnnnnnnnnn playing Kiryu's side missions they're really gonna make me cry huh. Kiryu and the "bartender", all the Date sub missions where you're revisiting old allies from the franchise........I don't know how this is gonna end but I couldn't ask for a more fitting story for Kiryu. It's been a celebration of the dragon of dojima.
