Gacha game time

 

In Vampire Survivor, can you turn off curse? The only reason I bought it is to unlock a certain character. Can I turn it off after I unlock him? If not, I guess I’ll just refund all the power up gold and buy them all again, except curse. I don’t want to make the game harder permanently if there’s no bonus.

Reached Room 46 in Blue Prince. Definitely my kind of game

Minor spoilers:

Took 31 days. One of which was spent falling to my doom after messing around with double foundations.

I don't know if I just got lucky because it felt like there was still so much stuff I hadn't done
completion spoilers

- Solved the tomb puzzle I think somewhere in the mid teens. Realized the water stayed the same level between days, made it across the reservoir like early twenties, solved the secret garden puzzle a little bit after that. Made it to the antechamber but didn't have enough moves to use the basement key I wanna say day 29 and then succeeded 31

- Still don't know what "IF WE COUNT SMALL GATES EIGHT DATES CRACK EIGHT SAFES" means
- Still only unlocked 3 of the extra rooms, and one of them (the server room unlocked from the lab puzzle) I have no idea how to get the admin password
- Still have no idea what to do with the chess pieces. Made some notes of what's in various rooms not sure what to do with that yet
- Still need to get one more torch lit up
- Only have one red letter
- Still not sure how to get into the orchard (though I do have an idea there)
- Still gotta track down a couple more music sheets to find out what to do with "FIND AMONG THE WHITE TREES ___ ___ STONES
- does swim bird in the storeroom mean anything?

so overall the ending feels a little unsatisfying? I feel like I've only scratched the surface of the puzzles they've given me, and sure I can and will keep playing more to get all my answers but for it to go "yay you did it" feels a bit un-earned

It's the P5 game, Persona 5: The Phantom X. Been out overseas for like a year, had a beta recently here and it's supposed to be formally announced on the 15th.

I'll say this, the current crop of popular voice actors is the best we've ever had, save for the TLOU cast. (I just severely soured on Troy Baker because he seems like such a douche, even though I loved him in everything he's ever been in)

and I'm glad gaming isn't just Nolan North any more.

The Microsoft article says they recently fired people working on HoloLens, which is wild, because who knew anyone was still working on HoloLens

that said they should've cast a muslima to play Abby, even though Laura nailed it.

 

Did anyone else play no rest for the wicked? I thought the studio (moon studios) was highly liked but I also remember reading that maybe they weren't the nicest people? Either way, I saw them complaining about not being able to finish the game as it's not selling well in early access and the reviews are bad.. they said review bombing but I think people just don't like it?

I gave it a go for about 10hrs and to be honest I liked it a good bit but not all of it. Not sure if I should have sympathy and should run and write a 'lukewarm' review ha.

I thought the combat and graphics were beautiful but weird ass character design and extremely difficult and confusing at times.
