I don’t even think about how far “I’m supposed to be”. Discover secrets at your own pace. The game counts days, but you’re not really on a time limit to reach the end.

 

Is the pad and paper pretty essential to progress? That sounds very much not my thing but I’m so curious I think I need to try it

 

I play it with someone and we work together to remember things. Some stuff I type in my “notes” app on my phone. Sometimes I see something in a room and want to remember it later if I need to come back to it. Every time you go into a room, it costs one “step”. You can get steps back in certain ways though. A notepad could reduce you going back and forth. Idk…just personal preference.

 

There is a lot going on and its a total reset besides your knowledge. Like passwords and pincodes that you find in one place that are needed for another just have to be remembered. Which early game isnt much, but i sense this game will explode with secrets and puzzle solutions in 1 room, then a bad few runs where that room doesnt pop up for a while, and yea, you may forget. (Especially as even newer stuff comes up).

 

Good point about later additions. I remember some stuff in the computers saying there’s stuff on them for future updates.

 

yeah I just played for 2,5 hours and I am not sure how much progress I made hahaha
but I definitely figured out a few cool things about the security terminal in combination with the breaker room.

 

I’m going to leave this here. If you get to the cloister room (three gem requirement), read this for the solution. You get a very good permanent reward and the solution is so laughable there’s no way i would have figured it out.

my favorite part about the dart board that it both ignores the rules of darts as well as the order of operations lol
