Blue Prince is good because it makes me feel like Im figuring stuff out that no one else who is playing has figured out yet.

I'm holding out hope that retailers will get a pre-sale before that because I'm moving in like two weeks and I rather be able to reserve the order and not be charged until it ships lol

They'll probably do like April 23rd. I'm not basing this off anything except that it's a Wednesday again and two weeks seems reasonable.

I tried making a note of them at first but not sure if they actually point towards anything or not yet.

I'm on Day 7 now and have to take a break to go to work but man, I love this. Even just at the simplest level of drafting rooms this is so fun for me, I think if it gets too too heady (and I assume it will given the praise) it might lose me, but for now the simple discovery of new room types and how one can affect the others is giving me a lot.

Yea, I have no idea what I'm doing in Blue Prince so far. I don't even really know where the puzzles are to solve? I think I've done a few clever things, but there's a lot that I've found that at this moment I just don't know what to do and I'm not sure if I'm just being dense or haven't discovered enough yet. Again vague and no spoilers but I have found a lot of things to interact with that at this point in time just don't do much. Things that spin and turn etc but no impact and no nearby clue to allude to what to do with the spinny / turny things.

I can be a bit of a cheater but really trying to work through this without hints or guides as obviously that's half the fun but yea, so far I'm still trying to figure out what I'm missing to progress. Always ending up without a key for a door or at dead ends and with no puzzles that I can seemingly solve to get much further. First run I ended early, the 2nd and 3rd I used all my steps.

I have done somethings, but I'm generally always going to be vague as I assume everybody wants to get through this on their own. I'll spoiler tag if I feel like shouting out a Eureka! moment.

 

You all are really piquing my interest with all this Blue Prince talk. Might have to grab it. Haha

 

Keep going. I'm getting there. I built a grid in my notebook I'm filling out.

I’m excited to start Blue Prince this weekend. Been playing through Split Fiction with a buddy and we’re having a blast. I do feel that some sequences go on for a bit too long but that’s a very minor complaint.

 

The wife and I played Blue Prince for like five hours last night. We got to Day 8. She LOVES puzzle games and I would not have done everything I did without her.
Tips that aren’t spoilers that I wish I knew, but I’ll tag them anyway if you want to go in a thousand percent blind:
prioritize floppy disks and use them ASAP in computers when you find them to permanently upgrade rooms.
Use the magnifying glass to see fine print in notes you find…
When you find a certain password, use it on the computer to access some stuff. The password is the same every day.
Go to the Observatory whenever possible. The stars carry over every day.
When you enter the dark room, the lights turn off, but you can turn them back on somehow…
You need keys for locked doors AND trunks…but you can break open trunks with the sledgehammer.

 

See... my issue is gonna.be not knowing how far im supposed to be. Im on day 5 and i feel like im stalling. I checked your tips, 3 i had encountered already - the rest, thanks.

One thing about the observatory (and this might be a spoiler as its something i figured out) but theres a plan for a planeterium floor plan inside the telescope. If you call it a rest in that room after drafting it you get 2 extra stars
Im not looking for an answer as ill get there, but the spinning globes and the light situation is suspicious
