Yeah this is my experience with it. Showed a lot of promise to start but just collapsed in the back.

 

played some of it, definitely a departure from the series but I don't mind. Not great performance on the Switch lol

 

Haven’t seen anything about this game til now. Seems cool!

Just FYI the collector's edition doesn't include a physical version of the game if anyone is interested in getting it. It just has a code for a digital copy.

 

Star of Providence, the new game from Dunkey's BigMode looks cool. traveling this weekend and might pick it up on switch.

 

Its real good. Im not generally a fan of rogue likes, but Im going the distance with this one. Its just nice to control the ship.

 

I'm never gonna be able to finish Xenoblade before AC on Thursday lol

I'm still surprised by this, especially since there is an actual physical edition being produced. They could've done a steelbook with the CE, like the first game. I'm skipping it this time around, and just getting the physical regular edition.

 

So I have to ask, because this game has been out in one form or another for years, and it's fascinating to me that so many people are learning about it for the first time but also aren't aware of how old the game is, and I'm wondering what the story is there.

 

I think it’s just the exposure that dunkey gave it tbh. I didn’t know it existed prior and I haven’t seen him explicitly say that in any of his promotion for it (I think he just said it was worked on for years and years or something like that) - on the heels of animal well doing pretty decent sales wise I think the interest makes sense

 

Yeah, it was in Early Access for a long time and was originally called Monolith but had to be changed for legal reasons.

How does Animal Well fit in?
