I can’t believe how many technical problems there are with Jedi: Fallen Order. I read about them, but MAN, they’re more prevalent than I thought. So much pop in and dropped frames. They need to patch this ASAP.

Edit: What’s crazy is that I’m having so much fun, that it’s hardly hampering my enjoyment at all.

 

Are the respawn times really Bloodborne length? Because id rather wait for that to (hopefully) get patched out.

 

It’s the best Metroid game since the first prime

I think DS1 is a Metroid game and unlike Prime that’s a good game

 

Metroid Prime 2 was awesome. I actually never played the third one, which is part of why I’d really appreciate it if Nintendo remastered the Prime Trilogy for Switch.

 

No. The level design is bonkers. I stand by this.

Dark souls 1? Or darksiders? I’d consider neither of those to be a Metroid game.

 

Dark Souls. It’s not really I guess but to me it kinda feels like one.

 

The level design in Fallen Order is really good. But most of why it’s so good is that they’re aping the Sekiroulsborne style, so.

 

What puts it over souls for me in terms of level design is the abilities. I love this kind of progression.

 

And that part is aping Metroid haha

 

Not saying it’s a bad thing that this game wears its influences on its sleeve, I love the game so far and I love those other games. This game is just a lot like Darksiders in that it throws a bunch of great games in a blender and what came out is also great. Nothing in it is original but it all works so well combined this way. Plus it’s making excellent use of the Star Wars license so far.

 

All the Fallen Order Storm troopers sound and talk like Tom Wambsgans from Succession

 

So fallen order worth the purchase? Definitely considering buying it tn

that said If you must dive in now, it is sick.

 

Honestly the technical issues are not a big deal at all, it’s getting a bit overblown

 

Depends on your tolerance/platform.
I’m just saying he will have a considerably better experience after 1-2 patches.

 

I would say closer to mildly better, personally, there’s nothing gamebreaking that considerably harms the gameplay experience.

 

I'm playing on PC and outside a couple of pop ins in the distance I've had no issues with fallen order

 

That said the game is kind of short from what I understand (like ~20 hrs), so that’s something to take into account where full price is concerned.
