Are you more into quick-paced, first shot wins kind of combat and smaller maps, or tactical combat on larger maps?

To be honest I don’t really know, as it has been so long since I last played something similar.

i kind of like both, i was thinking of buying black ops 4 just to fuck around on when im bored, i havent played cod in like 4-5 years but i used to have a lot of fun with it. but battlefield seems pretty cool too so i may just end up buying both. the last fps thats not overwatch that i played was titanfall 2, which i had some fun with

Battlefield is slower but better imo but if you want a campaign maybe try the new Doom or one of the current gen Wolfenstein games... or Halo and Destiny

i dont care too much about fps campaigns, never finished titanfall 2 though i came pretty close, havent played a cod campaign since modern warfare 2 so i dc black ops 4 doesnt have single player. still, doom has been on my list of wants for a while. destiny just seems like another mmo-style grind and between wow and eso i dont need another one of those. was just saying to my gf how i wish i had an xbox over a ps4 so i could play halo but i think i'll live

I didn't even know there were FPS besides COD and such. I miss Resistance and the good Killzones.

I tried out Doom and really did not like it because it felt way too repetitive. Mainly looking for multiplayer, so don’t really need a campaign.

In Wolfenstein 2 you get a trophy/achievement for kicking Hitler and that's the peak of entertainment for me

  16. just finished Rise of the Tomb Raider today, what a solid game. just picked up Shadow of the Tomb Raider for $35. and then there's still Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, Night in the Woods, Inside, and of course RDR2... I should probably unsub from WoW.

That's not even true. They're not that similar...Killzone 2 was great and 3 was pretty good. I was sorely disappointed by Shadow Fall or whatever because it looked really cool but didn't play that way haha.

In all honesty I just want a true sequel (not spiritual successor which we already got) or remake of Black. That's probably my favorite shooter.

I ordered the PS4 Pro Red Dead bundle. I am excited. My parents helped out in covering the 4K TV side of the equation.

Also picked up God of War and Shadow of the Tomb Raider

PSVR is awesome and I totally think VR (as a whole) is the future of gaming.

However, from just a standpoint of practicality, do you really want to have to set up the VR and put it on for every game and how many games are there you actually want to play compared to the ones you want to play on the Switch?
